The Last Breath Before Death

This is a mystery thriller with vampires as the supernatural element. But, these are not the annoying glittery vampires you may think you know, these have a more ancient feel and that makes them much more scary. The story is gripping, with a great well-paced narrative, the characters have spunk and the villains do not disappoint, they are faceted and evil, and the final act is exciting and gory, with real stakes (pun intended) that give you a sense of danger.
