Distant Thunder - I was worried about reading this as it seems a well-worn formula and I usually like a little bit of humour or unexpected difference in my books. But, this is a pretty good read and it says part one so more to come! The characters are well-written and rather relatable. It was very engaging and the story draws you in. I actually started to worry about the characters and their plight and that is a hard ask from me. Well worth picking up. Treasure and adventure seekers, you will love it!
