I love Dorset and I have visited the castle quite a few times, I also enjoy a good crime story, but well written ones are hard to find. I felt like the author doesn't like men much or really understand children. I will say that all in all I quite enjoyed this. It is mostly well-written and the pace is kept up so you need to stay on the ball, but, sadly, near the end things become vague. I worry I missed the motive and the explanations of how the crimes were committed. For me a large part of the plot is the reasons behind the crimes and the way they are carried out. So I felt a little cheated. However, this was ok. Not great, but fine. I just wish there had been a bit more of an actual ending.
