Well, this is a story that will keep you coming back for more. The characters are fantastic, so real and vulnerable and the fact that we see things from the point of view of the 'villain' is a great way to make them more relatable and human to the reader. This is a book that is hard to review as it is not a sad story, nor is it a happy one. It is a life, played out with all it's rough edges. There is no Disney style happy ending but there is an ending, that is happy, in some ways, and sad in others. This book might make you think of the line from the song, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need."
