Claire is keeping a secret from her ex, Reid. There is a criminal and a who done it storyline, Reid and Claire are BOTH targets of something deadly going on and the story really makes you want them to find the bad guy.
Around halfway through there is a big hint to who the culprit is, but you can never be sure which is refreshing. There were a few slight mistakes but they didn't distract from the pleasure of reading this book.
