Unexpected Sci fi and beautifully written. Full and character driven, it pushes you forward to keep reading although you ache. This is the kind of story that you will find yourself thinking about in quiet moments. It is a beautiful book that seems to have no set genre. It is upsetting, sweet, love filled with sci-fi elements. It’s a wonderful look at what we see in ourselves and in lesser hands may have come across as cheesy, no such worries here. At its heart though, this is a story of life after death, and light in the darkness.
